Healing from Lyme Disease
I’ve shared a lot about my journey with Lyme disease (see: Lyme Disease Almost Killed Me). Since going into remission, many people have asked what exactly I did to recover. I’ve been 100% symptom-free since 2014, and this page outlines the mindset, daily routine, and supplements that helped me.
Mentality: The Foundation
Before anything else, healing required a change in mentality. I had to go from feeling certain I was going to die to fighting with discipline and persistence for my life.
Be patient. Lyme disease infiltrates the body deeply, and healing is not instant. Unlike quick-fix prescriptions, real solutions can take weeks or months of consistency.
Commit to persistence. Think of yourself as a soldier in this process. Some days you will feel too weak, but persistence builds strength and clarity.
Release the past. Don’t aim to “go back” to who you were before getting sick. Regret stalls healing. Instead, think of your future self as stronger, wiser, and more resilient.
When you shift into this mindset, you’ll feel a sense of control return.
Summary of the Protocol
The whole routine is about cleansing, killing, detoxifying, and rebuilding:
Serrapeptase – breaks down and draws out foreign matter.
Antibiotic herbs (oregano oil/garlic extract) – kill bacteria and pathogens.
Niacin (Vitamin B3) – detoxifies and increases blood flow.
Amino Acids + vitamins – restore clarity, brain health, and balance.
These steps, combined with diet and lifestyle changes, create a clean slate for the body to heal.
Daily Routine
Sleep
Aim for 10pm bedtime at the latest.
Morning
On an empty stomach: take Serrapeptase + Amino Acids.
Wait 30 minutes before eating.
Make a smoothie (vegetables, fruits, aloe vera).
Later, eat a high-protein, gluten-free meal.
After eating, take:
A multivitamin
Oregano Oil (or Garlic Extract)
Afternoon
Take Vitamin B3 (Niacin, flushing kind) before exercise.
Start small (50mg), increase gradually to ~2000mg.
Body adapts to flushing over time.
Exercise:
30 mins cardio (running, treadmill, even jogging in place).
15 mins weights (focusing on weak/problem areas).
If exercise feels impossible, start smaller: simple movements, arm swings, light projects—anything that activates body and mind.
Afterward, eat a snack.
Avoid
Acid-inducing foods (e.g., tomatoes)
Dairy
Gluten
Non-organic meat/food
Stressful environments (anger, negativity)
Prescription drugs that mask symptoms (antidepressants, painkillers, valium, etc.)
Supplements for Body Anxiety
Ashwagandha (best overall – Organic India recommended)
GABA CALM lozenges (fast-acting)
Lemon Balm
Valerian Root (before bed)
Passion Flower
Notes & Adjustments
Serrapeptase: take in 3-month cycles (3 months on, 3 months off).
Niacin: build to 2000mg/day, maintain for 3 weeks; repeat cycle if symptoms return.
If you struggle with digestion: use probiotics, aloe vera concentrate, and L-glutamine.
For Lyme arthritis: take MSM Glucosamine daily for 3–4 months.

This is not a prescription—only what worked for me. Commit to at least 4 weeks before deciding if it’s effective, and always consult with a doctor to see if this approach fits your needs.
Here are the amino acids I focused on taking for brain fog recovery.
